The Department of Design, through its programs in Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Digital Media Design, has established clear objectives in education, learning, scientific research, and community service. These objectives aim to create an educational system characterized by high quality and strong community engagement, while building an integrated framework that aligns with the higher education standards of the Sultanate of Oman, both nationally and internationally.
Additionally, the department focuses on developing curricula that promote the values and principles of Islam, reinforce the Omani identity, and address the needs of sustainable development and future skills. The introduction of these programs aligns with the objective of matching the offered majors to the demands of the labor market.

The study plans and educational offerings in these fields have been developed to align with the latest regional and global standards. Furthermore, qualified and specialized personnel have been recruited, and the necessary infrastructure, technical resources, and technological facilities have been provided to meet the educational needs of these specialized disciplines.
